Sorry

My name is Ivett , Im currently 17 years and Im in 12 th grade, I was born in
Panama City, Panama. My mom is from Veraguas, Panama, she was raised in the
countryside of the country with 11 siblings and surrounded by farm animals. My dad
was born in Cuba and migrated to New York at 9 years old with his 3 siblings and his
parents. When my dad moved to Panama for work, he met my mom, got in love and
had 2 daughters. Me the younger one, our dad raised us to learn English since we were
little, when my sister was in 5 th grade, she moved to the US for some time but shortly
she come back to Panama, she always wanted to come back and study here, she was
a real smarty pants, I was not, I never wanted to move from everything I knew, I liked it
there. When I was in 10 th grade, I was struggling a lot in school with some classes, and I
wanted to change from school, but my parents had another idea, to move to the US.
At first it was scary leave everything I knew, and I wasnt that confident with my English,
but I knew I could defend myself.
