I Am From everywhere you go, you’re close to the ocean and can smell it too

I Am From where people eat a lot of fish, and it’s part of our culture 

I Am From where people drink coffee in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime 

I Am From a place where a lot of people smoke cigarettes everywhere, where the most popular sport is soccer. 

I Am From where the food is very good, especially the sweets like pastel de nata. 

I Am From the biggest waves on the beach that every professional surfer wishes to come surf in.

I Am From a country that tourists desire to visit and learn about our history because of our old monuments, gray war towers with statues made of rock where people used to fight with swords and ships.

Who I Am

Today I am a student in a new country and a new school 

Today I am with people from different countries around the world, everyone speaks a different language, trying to learn English

Today I am remembering a lot of good experiences. I went on a boat trip twice in a row, I went to a lot of field trips, and did a lot of extra activities that will help me in the future 

Today I am already in the 11th grade, just a year and a few months from 12th grade and graduation, I’m almost out of school, knowing what I want to do after all of this 

Today I am enjoying my life every day, and I like it a lot. I have my family with me and friends I started playing football when I came here, and I love it. The cultures here are very diverse, and it’s very fun learning about new cultures and religions.

Dear Future, 

In 10 years from now, I hope you’re free from everyone and everything 

In 10 years from now, I hope you have your own business

In 10 years from now, I hope you visit all the countries in the world

In 10 years from now, I hope you get mad cars and buy a house 

In 10 years from now, I hope you live every day like it’s the last day of your life

In 10 years from now, I hope you just be loyal to ur parents and sisters 

In 10 years from now, I hope you will be successful
