Hello, my name is Axel, I am from Mexico, and I am going to tell you my story. When I was 12 years old, my mother told me and my brother that we had to come to the United States. I was happy because I hadn’t seen my mother for three years. She had to come first because Dad had died when I was 10 years old. My mother had to get us through and she decided to come to the United States, on April 7, 2021 I left my house, first we went to the airport to go to the border and we stayed there for about 2 days waiting, one night we crossed the border with a coyote, when we crossed other people who were not our coyote picked us up, so we were locked up in a house for three days, they didn’t treat us badly, they gave us food and things like that, but they asked my mother for more money One day the man who was with us went to work and left us alone, then my mother told us to get out of there because real coyote people were waiting for us outside, and he picked us up and took us to a hotel and they gave us meal. The next day they took us to another hotel that was about 5 hours from where we were. A woman who was a friend of my mother was there, and when we were with her she bought us clothes and bought us something to eat. We went by car from Texas to Florida. It took us about 2 days to get there, we arrived on April 18 with my mom. My brother was very happy, my mom was crying, my brother and I were able to meet my little brother and my stepfather.
