My first moment in the USA

On my first day of school in a new country, I was really nervous and excited at the same time because I was going to have a new school, new teacher, new language, new friends, etc. I woke up at about 5 o’clock because I thought the time in Kansas was the same as Honduras. So I woke up and took a shower, but the school started at 8 o’clock. So my cousin drove me to school so that a teacher took me into the office and I was honestly fearful. The principal started asking me some questions related was my name and things matching that. I was really sad because I didn’t know what she said or even how to say my name; I didn’t understand anything. Then I was sitting and waiting for a teacher who was going to show me my classroom. Caleb was next to me. He also started school the same day. He had curly hair, tall, thin etc, and he asked me in Spanish what was my name and he said that he is from Honduras too. Finally the teacher was there and she took us and show our classroom it was really big and I saw really cute girls, but that day I got indefinitely tired to hear a lot of English. My teacher gave me my first test and I didn’t know what to do. My teacher took me and show where was the cafeteria at but I feel near nasty smells. But those smells made me hungry, so I get a piece of pizza, orange juice, and chocolate milk. I almost vomit because the pizza was unusually nasty. After eating I went to math class and the teacher was screaming because I told her “no English” and Caleb started laughing, the teacher act like “I didn’t know” sorry and she makes our work, she was really nice. Later my teacher told me that I have to go at P.E. class and I was like what I don’t know what is that mean, so she took me to the class. I meet other guys their names are Dennis and Wilmy. The coach asked me to do jogging, so the guys helped me to translate somethings but turns out to be that they going to be in ELL 1 too. The class finishing the guys took me to my last class it was ART, and I saw Caleb again. It was my last class so we just got a free class. Then the bell rang, on my first class my teacher gave me the bus number but I forgot it, so my bus arrived without me. I called my dad and he got mad of me, I had to wait for 1 hour and half. That was the end for my first day of school.
Now I don’t have does problems cause now I can understand more, I can speak, read, and express myself, and now I’m doing much better.
