I’m from Haiti
By Woolanda Eloi | From : Belle Glade (Florida) | School : Glades Central High SchoolI’m from Haiti
Haiti is the first black Nation that gained its independence
But it still suffers
They never stop the cruelty
Other countries constantly gossip behind its back
Haiti was so nice; it was called the Pearl of the Antilles
Now it is so oppressed; it could be the trash of the Antilles
But I know one day Haiti will become like all other countries.
Haiti has more sadness than joy
Oh!!! God, how much time before Haiti will cease to carry this cross?
For Haiti to move we need more love
More collaboration
More wisdom
Mutual respect
No vandalism
We have to stay positive so we can develop.
