       My name is Desiree Comes, I am 15 years old and attend Everglades High school.I was raised by my mother who was a single parent. My father was absent in my life so my mother did her best in playing both roles.When growing up, my mom and I created an incredible bond of a best friendship. Later on in the years, my brother, Adrian, came along adding a new member to our family. Having him made us all come together even more. He has influenced me by being more responsible and caring. With him getting older, my mother finally had the opportunity to  go back to college and finish up her degree as an associate for her major in nursing. Having my mother sacrifice herself for me, makes me very dedicated to school. My mother is my biggest influence in life and has shaped my character and how i live my life today. I am now a freshman in high school working for the opportunities of scholarships and to attend my dream school: Florida State University. In the future I plan to majoring in criminology because of my fascination in physiology and murders.
