My name is Samira, I am 16 years old, I was born in Algeria in 2000. I lived with my mother because my father was in France he worked there, he visited us only in holidays.

I grew up in Algeria, I studied there up to the age of 8.

I arrived in France by boat. My life changed. To be far from my family and my friends was so difficult for me. And It was hard because we knew no one here, my family is in Paris.

Learning French was diffucult for my and for my family except my father, because he grew up in France. But two years later I have improved and I learn haw to speak well French.

The school in Algeria it’s not different from France, the same studies and the same subjects.

Finding friends was easy for me in school, they were very kind with me.

I was well welcome but I repeated two classes and I received lessons for my learning French during two years.
