I Am From

I Am From hot weather, 10 islands,   

I am from delicious torresma, 

I am from where it rains once in a year or sometimes once every 3 years and when it does rain it’s always a flood,

I am from the smell of the beach, 

I am from surfing and swimming on the weekends

I am from the smell of fresh chicken and fish flowing from the grill                                                                                                                             

I am from where you hear the sound of the drums and you know there’s a party,

I am from where you wake up every sunday extra early to go to church with grandma,

I am from where there’s summer all year long,

I am from where we live stress free,

I am from where everyone knows each other, like an app full of relatable videos.

My Present

Today I am a student

I’m a big brother,

I’m a supportive friend,

I’m the oldest sibling

I’m a son

I’m in different country

Today i’m in a country with different types of people

Today Im somewhere in life I wish I was earlier

Today I’m in a better place mentally and physically

Today I’m a different person i was yesterday

Today I’m in 11th grade and it still feels like 9th grade was last year

Today I’m healthy young tenager and i hope I can keep it like that my whole life 

Today I don’t really like socializing with people but it’s been changing over the years and I hope it only gets better from here on. 

My Future

Dear future Eiden, 

Ten years  from now, I hope you are satisfied with my accomplishments.

I hope I’m  feeling full of joy and peace.

I want to have every good thing I ever wished for,

A safe place, surrounded by trees and beaches on a friendly island

and be grateful for everything that I have accomplished, 

my clothing brand and my return to my  home.

At this point in my life I’m facing challenges, like overthinking about the future and what I’m going  to be. There are things I want to remind myself of when I read this. Like, the importance of family, and how essential it is to have self love. Because self love is the best love.
